Terry Jones was born in 1964 in the small Lancashire  town of Rawtenstall, in the northwest of England.  Terry was inspired by his father who was also an artist.  At a young age Terry would come home from school  and sit quietly for hours watching his father paint  wonderful pieces of art. This fired Terry’s imagination  from which he would then turn his attention to drawing  and painting his own creations. It was about this time that Terry would also develop a  keen interest in Aviation after being given a model  spitfire by his father. Terry quickly merged both his  interest in art and aviation together. Whilst at school  and during his spare time at home, Terry developed his  skills in painting aircraft using mediums such as acrylic  and water colour. In the early 90′s, Terry was able to  pursue his passion for aviation and art on a full time  basis. Over the ensuing years Terry worked hard to  develop his own style and method of painting in oil. Terry’s hard work paid off resulting in his artwork often being exhibited at the Museum of Science  & Industry in Manchester. Having received an enthusiastic response from both fellow artists and  art buyers alike, Terry has gone on to win numerous awards over the years and is highly  regarded as a skilful aviation artist with his work selling worldwide.
We welcome you to Terry’s official website and are sure you will enjoy the selection of artwork he has on offer. Best regards, Team Terry.
